Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific is Now Preparing for Flight Resumption

Due to the new virus that is spreading all over the world which is the Coronavirus, many people have been affected and suffering until now. As of this writing, an Enhanced Community Quarantine is being implemented all over the country.

One of the most affected businesses all around the world is the airlines, but now it is a good thing that Philippine Airline and Cebu Pacific are now preparing to resume commercial flights. However, before fully functioning again they said that they need to undergo safety measures first to avoid the spread of COVID-19 when the flights started.

They have announced that one of the safety measures that they implemented is the antibody testing before being allowed to be in the flight it includes all the crew, pilots, and flight attendants. In addition, all the ground and boarding staff will be mandated to wear personal protective equipment while on the job for protection.

They also stated that they allocated budget for daily disinfection of facilities and equipment such as:
-Self-check-in
-Self-service kiosks
-Checking-in
-Bag-drop counters
-Shuttle vehicles
Also, they will provide hand sanitizer or disinfectant to all staff and passengers that will in the airport and aircraft.

Moreover, the public should also be advised and informed that the government implemented a temporary ban on international inbound flights from May 3 until May 8.

Once the airlines are already prepared, they said they will resume their commercial operation but with limited number of flights domestically only.
